So, when is iPhone 6 coming out?

The differences between iPhone 4, 4S and 5 are merely functional and internal, besides lightness and screen size and finally, a probably less fragile device. I have seen lots of people I know getting their “spiderman” case (when they crack the screen LOL) and not being happy with the phone’s build quality.

Anyway, as internal functions concern, iPhone 5 packs a 1.2 ghz dual core A6 chip processor that, according to Apple, has as double as power and speed improvement as the 4S. That’s a lot to say and there is people reporting that Safari, camera and other apps work and load faster than before. Another thing to notice is how the battery has been improved while the phone has more power to demand. Now that’s applaudable considering that it only has a 1440mAh capacity. Other improvements are the new stock earbuds with enhanced bass, finally Apple caught up with current technology demands and put a 8MP camera that takes “Panorama pictures” (which is an old story for high-end Android phones) a new charging and media sharing connector and…mmm…iOS 6 with minor updates and…did I mentioned it has a 4″ screen? (finally) it is also lighter.

Well, looks like there is not much to mention besides that, but let’s give credit to the good things we have noticed:

Battery life = not bad!
Stand by time of up to 9.4 days or 225 hours makes it above average, slightly, but above, as well as in talk time it has 8 hours when the average on smartphones is 7.

Retina screen not super AMOLED as the average.
Sounds awesome! but barely distinguishable for the regular user and a waste on such a small screen, though if it has it, it’s very welcome, it doesn’t make a difference whatsoever. The trick is the resolution it gives you and the graphics and processor, that’s what makes a movie vivid and fluid for example.

New unknown and not backwards compatible connector.
Yes, true! Makes sense? Depending on how you see it. No manufacturer (so far) has a connector like this or have one in the works. If you have iPhone 5, need an extra one, you buy it from Apple exclusively, full retail price! But many users have reported that iPhone 5 charges way faster than the 4S…is it worth it anyway?

Bass enhanced earbuds…stock earbuds!
Nice one. Normally iProducts come all with the same stock earbuds, but even if their the stock ones, they have better sound quality that the stock earbuds that come with any other phone and portable music device. Now, these have been enhanced, shaped differently to fit better in the ears and improved the music quality even more. Although I am way more exigent when it comes to music quality and headphones, I wouldn’t mind using these for long periods of time. There beyond from just getting the job done!

8MP HD camera is not an upgrade but a catch up. Panorama pictures have their age already in other devices, but possibly now they would be mainstreamed thanks to Apple’s imminent influence in the market. Improved music player and new maps app…uh…yeah cool.

Overall build feels and looks the same and makes you feel why did Apple do this now and not when releasing the 4S? It’s called money and market dominance so you buy minor upgraded devices every year instead of solid and noticeable builds every 2 or 3. Anyway, if you’re one of those lucky iPhone 4 and 4S owners that have gained a cracked screen spiderman case status, give yourself a chance and get an iPhone 5. I mean, since you’re going for Apple anyway, make it worth it this time…relatively worth it!

But when is the iPhone 6 coming out? Whenever it does, please, change its look because this is past from boring!
